Bhoomi pooja
Finally a dream come true. Waited quite long to get all the work done and I must admit that today is one of my longest day ever , waking up by 5am to start the day. Reached Nilai by 7.45 am and it's a beautiful morning , by 8.30 am the sun was baking hot and thank god for the Syed Alina's restaurant for a quick coffee grab.

Energized 2013.
I'm just full of energy today though physically tired. Okay........it's time , to stay focused on what I want to complete this year. This quarter itself!
Without thinking much, just drove up to Nilai. Yes, I have to do this one up asap. I'm not going to wait Bee to be here cos we end up losing days trying to do simple things. I cant believe I actually drove up till MPN and thank goodness for the remisi form !
Pakcik's not around and I have to start running around for these basic things. Anyway, I managed escaping the high traffic on the North-South Highway.
Though it's only Wednesday today, this weekend is going to be THE weekend for all KL-ites.
Maulidur Rasul tomorrow, followed by the Thaipusam weekend and public holidays. Oh....boy! I love Malaysia for the food, festivals and public holidays!!! How I miss my working days back then :) Just looking forward breaks!
Salam Maulidur Rasul to all my muslim friends/readers.
Happy Thaipusam to all my hindu friends/readers. I truly miss walking with the chariot procession from Maha Mariamman temple to Batu Caves. Those were the days.......the real good'ol days , I was only 16.....my friends and I decided to volunteer at Hindu Sangam and ISKCON. Whole night I kept awake and slept for the next full day! The fun we had.......I have tears in my eyes when I look back!
May Lord Subrahmanya fulfill our prayers and faith in him. I am really moved that this year I am blessed to see Batu Caves Subrahmanya. I miss Bee now. We are planning to jump in once the crowd is out of sight.
Happy holidays to all of you. xo

SAMPAH MASYARAKAT
Sampah Masyarakat is an all volunteer Non Profit Organization, founded in 2008 and is a movement to bring about attitudinal change in Malaysia's littering habits.
Run by the volunteers, they segregate the waste generated on the clean up days, sell the recyclables and pump the money back into environmental initiatives.
Real awesome job done by Malaysians. It's great to be back in my country and I am seeing a lot of things changed. Positive mantra will certainly develop a better society. Instead of teens wasting their time in FB and internet stuff , it's a better choice to get them moving , meet like minded people and teaching them to love nature! I truly wish that I could be part of this group!
I still have my chance once I'm back to Bay Area, we have lots of community services around Alviso / Santa Clara. Cant wait!!

Adding my wishlist + attitude = Happy Me !
I can call myself as a big fan of gratitude exercise. Yes, I still remember the gifts from my uncles and friends as a kid. I remember people who've been there during my toughest times. I spend a decent amount of time thinking about what I’m grateful for; I do it almost every day. There are countless documented benefits of such practices, from reducing depression and anxiety to lowering blood pressure and improving your social bonds, according to brand new research. Also, it just feels good.
I do miss the good old days where things were just as it is. Good enough to be called best days. At times, I feel having wishes will only upset me when I dont get them or things done in the way I wanted it to be! What I'm grateful for right this moment..........?

- The good morning wake up - whenever Bee's next to me, I'm half asleep , he would wake me up and at times checks my forehead to see I'm fine or not. I know that can be soooo annoying but I'm grateful that my hubby checks me out first thing in the morning. What a beautiful way to start my day. Just like Bee, my mom checks on time to time on how I am and what I do. Done with lunch/dinner etc.
- The yoga asana - thought me to appreciate my body, mind and soul. Each movement thought me on my inner self, realizing what I'm made of, the vedic way of seeing the body beyond the outer self.
- Food - I know I grab the quick junkfood, the cup cake when I'm down but hey, pampering myself once a while is a good way satisfying hunger cravings. Moderation is the key!
- My prayers - I take a good amount of time reading the vedic slokas ( 20 mins ) at least on special days , I'm grateful for that. My ability to connect god in my mind and heart gives me the strength to overcome the toughest hurdle which at times is my weakest point too.
- My body - at times I'm super light that I could run around doing things but there are days I feel so bloated and dull. Aging ? Err.... it's time to start back my gym once I'm back to the US. Right now, I appreciate my mood which let me write this down!

THE LAME EXCUSES !!
We all make excuses. But the successful ones are those who can kill the excuses like the miserable maggots they are.
I’m too tired. I don’t have the time. I don’t feel motivated. I’d rather do nothing. I don’t have the money, equipment, space. I can’t because …
We’ve all made the excuses. Here’s how to kill them.
See the positive. Excuses are usually made because we don’t feel like doing something — we’re accentuating the negative. Instead, see the fun in something, the joy in it. And maintain a positive attitude, or you’ll never beat the excuses.
Take responsibility. Excuses are ways to get out of owning up to something. If we don’t have the time, money, equipment, etc., then it’s not our fault, right? Wrong. Take responsibility, and own the solution.
Find a solution. Just about every problem has a solution. Don’t have time? Start with just 5-10 minutes. Make the time. Wake earlier. Do it during lunch. Don’t have a gym membership? Workout at home or in the office. Don’t have the energy? Do it when you have higher levels of energy. You’re smart. Figure out the solution.
See your goal. This is your motivation — your reason for doing it. Sure, you could just lay on the couch, but if you think about why you really want to pursue a goal, you’ll be motivated. Visualize that goal and just get started.
Be accountable. Have a workout partner, a project partner, a team, someone to report to. If you have to meet a coach or partner, you’re more likely to do something.
Go ahead and make your excuses. Then do it anyway.

Healthy habits = Happiness !
"Whatever you dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it. Begin it now.” - Goethe
Recently I have been emotionally shaken after the death of my grandma. It was just so difficult to come out of the mode and I realized it's impacting my daily life. I then thought life couldn't take it anymore ! I learnt a big lesson that visiting chat rooms aren't the right option ! I told myself that something has to be done to come out of such a feeling of pain ! A loss is always a loss, we cannot replace it , I did not see my grandma for the last , final time on earth before she's buried accordingly our hindu ritual way , but I believe that she've sensed my feelings. I am keeping myself happy for the sake of my loved ones and myself ! Hence, I thought there would be so many people like me , impacted by events of life , or could even be in worser situation. Therefore , for those out there , just remember , love lives !
We live in interesting times. We’re blessed that way.The world is changing rapidly. The way we work is changing, the way we live has already changed. Entire industries are crumbling, and more are growing on their ruins. People are empowered to express themselves, to create, to become a part of a global conversation and transformation, in a way that has never existed before.
What will you do with that?
What will your place be in this new, interesting world? Will you have a voice? Will you be a creator, or just a consumer?
Do something.
Do something interesting.
Be a part of the conversation, and say something remarkable. Create something unique, new, beautiful. Build upon the works of others and transform it into your own.
